I Muse With Fairies
In my private universe
where muse is my best companion
I saw a
shoe a'
sailing
a' sailing
on the sea
The fairies
were it a'
using
coz boats
they
haven't
you see!
O' ethereal
fairies if
you may
be real
Come
share with
me a
sumptuous
meal.
And we'll
ferry
together
in a
ferry
A fairy in
a ferry, a
sight so
very
merry!
Ah the
day is
young and
so
am I
We'll sail
the Seven
Seas by
and
by.
And let me then sup on magic beans
and time travel to medieval kings and queens.
Just because I live in my private universe of muses
where I wade in the lagoon of my thoughts
My invisible muses until put to pen and ink
I float in this private universe of ink
which along with prayer keeps me afloat and never sink
I bask under silvery moonlight
and imagine myself on the moon
inking away in my private universe....
