I Miss You and Hate You

I can't bear to listen, Or remember how your eyes glisten. It's tormenting me all the time, Because you will never be mine. I would run a mile, To see your devastating smile. And to hear your laugh, That broke my heart in half. I miss our midnight talks, And the moonlit walks. The music that we use to hear, And most of all, having you near. But there are some things I hate, How I would sit around and wait. How you left me all alone, Or spoke to me in that tone. It's still not fair, That I'm not there. And I'm sitting here feeling blue, Because I left my heart with you.

Mmm...a very relatable piece. It's good to miss the memories, it's better to let them go and make better ones with somebody new.
