I Miss You
I dig my feet into the sand
And reminisce on a time that I once could understand
I still live in that day
When we both went our separate ways
And I wonder if this is what I really want
I sit back and count the sunsets
As I'm thinking of the time we first met
It still runs through my head
Every last word we said
And I wonder if this is what I really want
You have a name thats pretty like the rain
You try to be strong and hide in all the pain
I miss your beautiful eyes
And lips that never told lies
And I wonder if this is what I really want
You take me to a paradise
A place where you just make living extra nice
Its you I take great pride
By having you by my side
And thats when I know that is what I really want
Lets take a walk to eternity
And bask in our found glory of serenity
All I know is I miss you
And you know that you miss me too
And we both know this is what we really want.....
