I Miss You.

the memory of you haunts me.
the way your soft brown hair flowed in the breeze
the way those blue eyes twinkled in the sunlight,
and the way our hands fit perfectly.
all the things we did,
all the passion we shared.
its all there,
when i sleep,
in the car on all those backroads,
even standing in the shower,
its everywhere.
i thought i was over it,
over you,
but i guess time doesnt heal all wounds.
i loved you,
but i could never say it,
for the fear of rejection always lingered.
but none of it matters.
not anymore.
you walked right out of my door.
and now i live with the regrets and these linging memories.
i guess ive just realized i miss you.
