I Miss You...

We sing these songs
but do we really
say the words from
the bottom of our hearts

These words right here
I utter from from the base
of the chambers of my heart

I miss you...

maybe it would sound
a lot more meaningful
and genuine if I say it
in another language
or maybe if i shout it
from the top of the towers
of my unstable mind

I miss you...

these three mere words
haunt me and pumps up
my adrenaline and paints
my imagination on the street
As I sit by my window
watching days melt into years
And rocks hardening even more
Spaces becoming even more cagey

I miss you...

These words right here
I utter from the base
of the chambers of my heart...
I miss you...

I miss you...
