I Miss You

A year that passed without you,
A year of inexpressible pain, heart went through,
Your absence made a deep hollow,
Leaving behind your footsteps to follow.
In our mind’s eye moments we freeze,
To fill it with your lovely memories.

You inspire us at every little step,
Our hearts can sense your invisible help.
An epitome of selfless love and care,
Hid behind your smile, pain you never shared.

Fearlessly handled turmoils of life,
No hardships could ever shake your stride.
Your love is sealed in our hearts for eternity,
And will always remain proud of you
                   ‘Dear Mummy’
