I Might Only Be the Size of a Pea

I might only be the size of a pea
But you already mean so much to me,
I love you now and I'll love you forever
Mummy says she can't think of anything better.
I can't wait for you to watch me grow
And to teach me all things I don't yet know,
I can't wait for you to hold me tight
And to kiss and cuddle me every night.
My tiny fingers and tiny toes
All my limbs still yet to grow,
You'll see me soon, a little picture
It won't be long until I'm with ya.

Hi Chelsea. Enjoyed your poem. So much feeling. I had a grandson born recently but can't yet see him. A long way to travel and Covid restrictions. Best wishes. Tony
