I Met You Only Yesterday

I met you only yesterday,
but it seems so right
Can it really be true
So sweet and bright?

The way you've made me feel
I've longed for so long
to be loved and cherished
like a beautiful song

My heart soars 
and hope is bright
Love comes to me
and it feels so right
