I Mean To Love, Not To Kill

"The time is here to face this one man press
he’s more than any form of journalism just to oppress
he forbids any road to his daughter that is an express
but I’ll do my best and try to effortlessly impress."

"I kissed his beloved seed and he sees me as chlamydia
questions after questions, please sir, I am not encyclopedia
he needs proofs of my honesty shown only in the media
surely, no one can save me, not even all the gods of India."

"The difference between a billionaire and me is just a dime
my balanced life has chewed both grape and lime
that is why my taste of goodness came right on time
for my love with his child to be as smooth as this rhyme."

"I’m so pleased, my magic and confidence have done this rout
it was worth the four horrible hours of roundabout
I am still standing even when he almost caused me gout
he shakes my hand, smiles gracefully and screams “get out!”"

LMAO. Loved your poem Funom. As a father, I can recall exactly what you were subjected to. Good writing, my friend.
