I May Not
I may not be beautiful, I may not be all that smart,
But I have something made of gold, that of course, is my heart.
I may not be very ladylike, I may not be slim and trim,
But for those I love, I would lose a limb.
I may not have manicured nails, I may not have the perfect hair,
But as long as my loved ones, love me back, I certainly do not care.
I may not have expensive clothes, I may not always be smartly dressed,
But when it really matters, I always look my best.
I may not have high aspirations, I may not have interesting things to say,
But I try to make someone smile, every single day.
I may not be all that wealthy, I may not have a lot of flair,
But my life is filled with love and laughter,
Therefore, I'm rich beyond compare.
