I Loved

I loved the clown
Until he looked at me
My smile now a frown

I loved the horse
Until I sat on top
Quiet scary of course

I loved the night
Until I was in the dark
And got a terrible fright

I loved the snake
Until he bit me
His calm was fake

I loved you too
Until I saw your black heart
And the evil you do
