I Love You To the Moon
Today I saw you crying
I sent you lots of love
I hope that you can feel lit
Sent from heaven above
I know you love me dearly
And I'd like to be there, too
Feeling you holding me in your arms
The way you long to do.
I know that you are sad
As you gaze up to the skies
Know that I'm here beside you
Looking in your eyes.
I see the pain you feel inside
It's tearing you apart
But I want you to know and feel
My presence in your heart.
I feel your love and kindness
And the gentleness of your heart
You're not a stranger to me, Mom,
Though I know that we're apart.
I can't wait to finally see you
God says you'll be here soon
On that glorious day when I'm with you,
I will love you to the moon!
