I Love You, My Child

Touching my heart the day you were born
A life filled with love to you I have sworn
Teaching you everything in hopes you will apply
You’re so smart that you keep my hopes high
Altogether you are practically perfect
No other child will I so fiercely protect
Always and forever I will love you. Mama
