There you were standing at my door I was so nervous but excited at the same time Sitting there talking to you, getting to know you You were funny, smart and gentle In a short time I realized that I wanted to be near you all the time As the months and years flew by you were my best friend I knew I loved you and always would Then the night came when you put that little ring on my finger You told me that you loved me and wanted me forever Three months after pledging our love we were going to be a family A dream come true for the both of us Then before I knew it our son was born He brought us so much joy Life just wouldn’t be the same without him Four years have gone by since then It has been far from easy We have had our share of challenges Yet through it all our love has concurred all Our love is stronger then ever Now after five years of marriage We will soon be completing our family Another bond for us to share Our love is unbreakable Tonight, our fifth wedding anniversary I look at you and all I see is love I know that I will hold you in my heart and soul forever I will love you now and always I will love you till I take my last breath
