I Lose Nothing

I have no other option
Than to smile at your mind’s adoption.
Of what value is joy that leaves in haste?
Of sweet honey that gives a bitter residual taste?
Just know dear lady, I lose nothing
The thoughts of you shall soon be forgotten.

I have no tears to shed
Than to smile that our romance is dead.
Of what use is fake love
Of piercing nails hidden under the glove?
Just know dear lady, I lose nothing
I shall smile soon of a true love begotten.

I have this good bye song to sing
Than to wait for a joy you’ll never bring.
Of what use is popcorn love to man?
Of a monstrous head hidden under a turban?
Just know dear lady, I lose nothing
Because the feelings I have for you are now rotten.
