I. Like. You.

I.
Like.
You.

I like the way we just happened to meet
Caught your eye and my heart skipped in one beat.

I like the way you hold my hand real tight
And how my hand fits yours just feels right.

I like the way you brush the hair off my face
Even though I put it there in the first place.

I like the way I catch you giving me that eye
The one that tells me that your heart now is mine.

I like the way you’ve shaken up my world
Turned me, dipped me, and danced me in a twirl.

I like the way you look in my eyes and call me baby
And how you make me believe that this like just may be

Love.

Here it is Sunday and the begining of a new week is upon us. And August is leaving us way to soon. I am enjoying reading such excellent poems today and am happy to see your poetry among them Allison. May your pen forever flow. Love, Carol
