I Like the Lilt of That

Us …..I like the lilt of that.
Us!
For so long it was only me
Just me.
And I hate the feel of that.
But then, from out of the blue,
Came you.
We …. I like that too.
I plus you is we.
Us is you plus me.
Look at it how you will.
That it how it has to be.
I’ll say it one more time.
Us!
