I Like Silence

I like silence
when it drizzles like rain
not thundering down,
but falling softly on my window pane.

I like silence
when it ripples like barley in the breeze.
It is in times like these
it puts me at such ease.

I like silence
when it drifts to me like snow.
Then is when I get lost
in its tranquil flow.
