I Like Silence

I like silence when it drizzles like rain not thundering down, but falling softly on my window pane. I like silence when it ripples like barley in the breeze. It is in times like these it puts me at such ease. I like silence when it drifts to me like snow. Then is when I get lost in its tranquil flow. Hi Andrea, beautiful thoughts. I agree, silence is beautiful when it is not overbearing. It should be the silence of bamboo in a a forest when the breeze stops blowing not the awkward silence of a first date.
