I Like All Seasons

Paddle a canoe across a lake
And do it fast for heaven sake
This lake is deeper than I can see
Think I will jump in from that tree

Then I will swim back to shore
So I can do this a lot more
Come and meet me at the lake
And we will bar-b-cue some steak

Summer seems so very short
Some will pick and play a sport
When seasons change and it gets cold
I’ll winterize don’t need to be told

Time to snow-shoe across the lake
How much time will this trip take
I’ll catch some fish
It is my wish

I like all seasons
And have my reasons
I’ll do my chores
While you like yours
