I Let It Slip Away

I let it slip away,                                                                                            after many months with clouds of gray.                                                         Our friendship became a huge drain.                                                             you were not worth all the pain.                                                                    Now all I can do is just pray.

Unfortunately as you know some times those closest to us, "friends", aware of our "Achille's heel" can do the most hurtful things. I think you are a wise woman to sever that toxicity and just pray for this person. Perhaps in time you may reconnect under better circumstances. If one has a friend, a true friend, we do NOT have to tippy toe around them. If they accept you, real-time, they do not have a list of qualifications like that. IBUT they make friends with my known enemies, I lose trust. That’s sad.if you told me, someone here was out to get you..that’s the end for them..Pangie.
