I Let Her Lie
I cannot blame her, I let her lie.
I let her speak, I let her blame.
All of our problems, I let her sit them on me.
I was afraid, I was alone, I was scared,
I was losing the woman, With whom everything I shared.
All we had done, all we had said, all of our love,
was being thrown to the side, for some other mans lust.
I let her lie, and I blame myself.
I should’ve said no to all the feelings I shelved.
But she had my heart and I could not give in,
She had my heart, because I gave in.
I cannot blame her, I let her lie.
