I Let Her Go

The taste of her lips still lingers on mine
I miss the way we touched
The way we held each other

You follow me like a ghost your always on my mind
If only time would rewind
You I will never forget
For losing you I regret

Your sense of humor
Your compassion
The way you stayed up with me when I cried you said I'll always be here

Your warm embrace
Your pretty face
You meant so much to me I loved you I still do

I was a fool to let you go
I wish I could take it back

Maybe someday fate will bring us toghether again

A heartfelt write. Love brings forth powerful emotions, even when it is seemingly over.
