I Let Go
I let go, let go, let go, let go
Of everything there is to know
And as it all drops away
Vale after vale
Scheme after scheme
Lust and dream
A great space of peace can be seen
Not with the eye but with the heart
And in that silent state has dwelt
All the hearts that have ever felt
Every being there ever was
An overflowing joy of relief
Beyond life
Beyond death
Beyond grief
And with rapture
My heart desires to express
The beauty of that sacred emptiness
And with that want the sight falls away
For to desire so is to be led astray
