I Left You To Drown
I left you to drown
In the pouring rain
And I had counted on you falling in a puddle
And never resurfacing
I found my way back to your room without you
And similarly, without a key
I kindly left a towel outside the door
Incase you made it back alive
And I hadn’t counted on it
But you’re still breathing
