I Know Youre An Angel and You Were Heaven Sent
I needed a miracle and then you were there
To pull me from the dark and lift me from despair
You healed me with your spiritual glow
I saw your light but didn’t believe it was a halo
I heard your calling but I didn’t know what it meant
But now I know you’re an angel and you were heaven sent
I was in pain you took it away
But I didn’t think you were the answer for all those time I did pray
I heard you’re song and it’s message was clear
But I didn’t acknowledge it even though I saw you appear
I heard your calling but I didn’t know what it meant
But now I know you’re an angel and you were heaven sent
You spoke to me but I though it was absurd
You read from the bible but to me it wasn’t God’s word
The stress from it all made me cry
I touched you’re wings but never thought you could fly
I heard your calling but I didn’t know what it meant
But now I know you’re an angel and you were heaven sent
You flew away and left me whole
But at what cost maybe my immortal soul
When I realized the truth it was to late
Not having faith is humanity’s grim fate
