I Know Nothing

I know that you can see me
as nothing but the best.

I know that you will lift my heart
and carry me to rest.

I know my world is horrible,
devoid of endless bliss.

I know my brothers come with me
and no one will be missed.

I know I've dreamt that we were one
before I came to pass.

I know my dream will live again;
I know we'll always last.

I know that I can never be
what you won't have me be.

This lesson I have yet to learn
is all that's left of me.
