I Know

I know you work every day. I know you come home tired, And I know you just want to rest. But what about me? When do I get to rest? My job is 24/7. I don't get a break. If our child is hungry, I'm there. If our child is sick, I'm there. If our child needs me at all, I'm there for him. But when I need a break, It seems like all you want to do is pull away, All because you're tired. I need time for myself too. It's not often anymore that I get that. I can't keep doing this day in and day out, I Need My Rest.
