I Just Cant

I just cant close my eyes and blink this away. I just cant keep saying that I dont love you. I cant keep wondering what happened that made us this way. I cant put my mind to ease when it comes to you. I cant sit back and say that I like it this way. I cant say that you never had my heart. I cant just say that what we had wasnt true. I cant say I like the pain. I cant say that I dont wish for better. I cant say you didnt promise me this wouldnt happen. I cant sit and not cry about my hurt. I cant get up and pretend like it didnt happen. I cant stop and react any differently than I am. I just cant forget you. I just cant throw in the towel and give up. I just cant accept a sorry. I cant go and find another man. I just cant turn away from the past. I just cant explain why I cant let go. I just cant stop the love I once felt.
