The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

I Hope You Like Flies In Your Honey

I hope you like Flies in your Honey—
They sweeten—differently—
A tarnished Wing in Amber—
A bit of Treachery—

The Golden jar—pretending—
To hold—Divinity—
Yet—Buzzes—when you linger—
With Mortal—Company—

The Bee—was once—an Angel—
The Fly—a Fallen—Star—
We sip the same Communion—
Not knowing—what we are—

So—taste the Truth—my Darling—
It hums—behind the Sun—
For every drop of Honey—
Has Flies—in everyone—
