I Hear, I Feel, I Know

I hear footsteps upon the stairs
I look, there’s no one I see
I feel your presence when you’re near
I can’t see you, where could you be?

When I’m feeling crippled with grief
I feel your warm embrace
Now I know that our love goes
Beyond all time and space

I know this from the signs you send
When I am missing you
I know you’ll be beside me
Your love’ll help me through

Life seems harder without you, son
Living in this earthly place
I know we’ll be together again
And once more I’ll see your face.
