I Hear a Cry

Through out this land The children of man Are vanishing with out a trace Right out of the human race. There goes our social graces.... Doesn't this make your heart weep? Don't you have trouble going to sleep? Hello! This is a hurt that goes really deep. Can't you understand children are neat. Every child that is left in our keeping Has a way of greeting Each and every day with an innocent face That can make any ones heart skip a beat For with out our children life just isn't as sweet.

Oh, Bette, you are revealing something hidden, something horribly bad people want to keep hidden. There is a cancer in this country - perpetrators stealing children, and doing awful things to them. I applaud your bravery, and I think we all need to listen. We need to keep our eyes peeled, and teach our children to drop if they are grabbed, and kick and scream and yell and hope a bypasser will care. Well done!

Thank you Caren. People don't seem to care any more which is sad. I hope this poem wakes them up. I know how it feels to be tearing up heaven and earth until my daughter was found. I am thankful it was a good ending. A lot don't have that.
