I Have Touched a Thousand Suns

i have touched a thousand suns danced thru constellations infinite lost myself wrapped in galaxies dreaming tossed mercilessly from vortex to vortex ran amok in meteoric showers across foreign skies hidden in the eclipse shadows pondered beneath the northern lights in the purple-crimson sunsets as quasars bore down on me all of the glory the celestial heavens offer none compare as watching the moonlight softly in silence coming thru the window gracing the face asleep next to me a demanding volcanic lunacy held in a breathless rapture where time ceases a vision escaping into eternity the moon in its adoration of the face asleep next to me Oregon 10/23

Celestial overwhelm. A welcome change from our down-to-earth lives.. Thanks! As a fan of Arthur C Clarke's science fiction books, this poem reminds me of him and one of his books where the indigo kids start to play with the moon... And then you sign off with 'Oregon' known as stargazing location :-)

thank you Paghunda....a very precious memory i keep...the purple-crimson sunsets were from the Krakatoa volcanic eruption i was studying which occurred in 1883....no matter where life takes you bring along those precious moments when love comes to town

As I started reading this Timothy I was reminded of that Blade Runner scene where a replicant speaks: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion..etc" Suffice to say your words from your romantic poem shine so much brighter. Great work. Cheers - Gary

You haven't even made your bed, if you truly love god stop complimenting people who hold in disgust immigrants trying to survive, you know like Jesus.

not following the logic here....how would Jesus qualify as an immigrant....more so how a lovely remembrance would qualify as such....let alone a god that demands a crucifixion to pay for some offense that never existed....
