I Have That Sunday Feeling
I have that Sunday feeling
you know the one I mean,
I should be up and dressed by now
but I’m really not that keen.
I have that Sunday feeling
that comes before a tiring week
it’s even too much effort
to move my mouth to speak.
I have that Sunday feeling
you know the one you dread,
it always begins and ends
with just getting out of bed!
I have that Sunday feeling
while munching on my toast
One good thing about this day
is having Sunday roast!
I have that Sunday feeling
but it’s ok I’ll survive
As Sia is on the radio
reminding me I’m alive!
I have that Sunday feeling
while staring at the ironing pile
Maybe it won’t hurt
to avoid it for a little while.
I have that Sunday feeling
so right here I will stay
Sitting in my jammies
having a slow and lazy day!
