I have searched my entire life For a man as good as you are to me I have longed since childhood For someone to believe in me I have walked a thousand miles For a love I didn't find until now I have spent all my life I have spent all my time Crying until now I once dreamed of a love so true I pondered on thoughts of passion I wondered if I would ever feel it And now I have this devotion Searching myself I wonder How long can true love last When it is tortured so Will it be rescued at last Can distance and time make us strong Or will it tear us apart The thought of losing you makes em weak Knowing there would be distance to start I don't know how much more That my heart can take I've been packing my heart with ice And putting everything I have at stake Yet is love enough to carry All this weight and sorrow I feel This horrid abandonment that consumes me ?
