I Have a Little Secret

I have a little secret
Ok it’s not so small
But I have to keep it hidden
Can’t tell anyone at all

I have made a mask
That fits me like a glove
So no one knows the real me
Not even those above

I can’t tell myself
What I need to hear
Can’t risk someone seeing
One escaped hot tear

So I keep it hidden
Who I really am
Because I’m not sure I know
So nobody else can
