I Have a Dream

I have a dream
A fantasy
A way to cope
With reality

You're not really leaving
It's only for awhile
A week or two at most
And you'll be back with a smile

You would never leave me
You know I couldn't go on
You know what you mean to me
And your feelings are just as strong

I Believe that someday
We'll have a family of our own
Life will be perfect
In our happy home

I believe in angels
And it's plain to see
I believe in angels
And God sent you too me

 I have a dream
And it's killing me
Because I know
It'll never be

This is very sad indeed. I feel like you are dreaming this sweet dream and then you woke up to reality. I loved the rhyme and imagery of this poem, it's truly beautiful. You keep waiting on that dream and one day by the grace of God, it will become true and it will be better than you could have ever imagined. God Bless *Tyesha

Amazing! And, personally, story of my life! :) I loved it! The flow, the words, the meaning, the message, all of it. Thanks for sharing this. ~Oreo
