The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

I Have a Blank Map In My Head

I have a blank map in my head
Searching for love with no direction to be led
There is no street road or avenue
Nothing that will lead me to you
No town city or even a place
To lead me back to see your face
No state region or a country
No compass to guide me to thee
Without north south east or west
I cannot find you so my mind can rest
I need a globe index or even a chart
To locate the place of my soul mates heart
Then I remembered how I found you before
So I headed straight out my lonesome front door
I looked up in the sky to see our star
Then I wished and gazed ahead and there you are

an interesting line: a blank map in my head. And it was so cool how you went out the "lonesome" door and saw love after looking out to the stars!!

Thank you Michael. My friend Christine said to me at work yesterday that she had a blank map inside her head. That inspired this.
