I Hate This

I don’t understand this life,

To gain, to lose, to strife

This life that I live is a mystery

I don’t get how you can just write a horror

book and go down in history

There are so many things I wish I could have

I wish the stars were aligned just right

So, that our name would be embedded in them

 And shine so bright

I wish you and I could be together

Instead of you and her

I want that life changing first kiss

The experience, the feeling of having your hands in mine

But, as I’ve learned, no one dies a virgin

Because life fcks you in the beginning,

middle, and end

I just wish that I didn’t have to call you ‘friend’.
