I Hate Romises

When you saw me sad you sat near me and ask why
I told you if I can trust you, you promised you won't lie
When you saw me crying you ask me why, and I say I want to die
You promised, if we can be together, you'll never let me cry

Days passed by when I realized that I love you
I started panicking and ask myself what should I do
My heart is not ready to fall in love with you
But I can't stop loving so I'll just say what is true

We become together when I told you my feelings
You told and promised you won't stop loving
And you also promised that you will avoid lying
Hope it's all true so I'll stop worrying

5 months passed when I saw you walking
Not just you, but you're with other girl, laughing
I run away and start crying
I whisper to myself "promise is the word of boys for lying"

that last line needs some work. but it's a mouth full. i think its a great new quote. and i never thought of it though many girls and women have. "promise; is the word boy's use when lying." John Henry Loving III
