I Give Thanks

I give thanks for gifts from creative ways
And deep blue skies on sunny days
I give thanks for the kind, caring gestures
And wide open freedom in golden pastures
I give thanks for guidance, strength and survival
Born in the miracles of granted revival
I give thanks for simple things in each catalyst
That launches my soul, as I emerge from the mist
And from diifficult challenges and painful.days
From things that leave smudges on life, as it frays
I give thanks for the contrast of good and bad
The colorful ground of mercy, I let myself clad
There are so many thanks, a million stars to see
Shining in the dark, pouring wise stardust on me
