I Give My Thanks To the Lord

I give my thanks to the Lord for His mercy,
For He’s good for every human being
Though we can't read all His plans easily,
And though we can't understand everything.

I thank my God for a stream of the light
On the way I follow – rough and bumpy -
To keep the direction – the only right,
Though I scraped my hands and my feet are bloody.

He lets me doubt, but I may always choose
The bridge - a bright rainbow - to the far sky,
To His world full of love - divine values -
Everything I want to feel in my life.
