I Gave My Love Away

I thought you were the one who was going
to give me your heart,
I thought you had the time to give me all of your love.

I thought we had more time to share, 
I thought we had more time to care.

You didn't pay attention to the words that I would say,
No,  you didn't notice when I gave my love away.
