I Gave My Heart To a Ghost

Sweet apparition glides by translucent
as I foolishly pursuit it...
arms wrap around the fleeting mist
to leave this embrace an empty fist
Her gone-ghost eyes glowing green
painless expression boasts serene
I may chase this ladies ghost
over the cliff of oceans coast
drowning now, swallowed whole by sea
dieing now, enabling the union of we
