I Gather Strength
I gather strength
When you say hello
My heart warms like honey
Under the light of the sun
You're the sweetest nectar
I taste the love you share
When I smile
You are there
An ever steady
Rush of hope
Fills my soul
You fill my heart
As I stroll
And see your beauty
In everything
Your love song melody
I hear when the birds sing
From above
The air I breathe
Feels like your arms
Wrapped around me
This day
Gets better than
All the others
Tomorrow
Sees my fleeing sorrow
No longer
Do I need to beg
Steal or borrow
For as I see the sparrow
Flying over me
You have filled my heart
With yours
How lucky
I must be
This man loved by thee……
