I Found You
The day that I found you
Was a day a dream came true.
I was in the personal ads on yahoo
When your face came into view.
You were looking for a friend.
Your heart was on the mend.
An invitation I did extend
To talk, to meet, to befriend.
Seven months have come and gone.
I am thankful with each new dawn.
For the friendship you have shown.
My first impression was not wrong.
Our time together has been the best.
I’m in love with you, I must confess.
You are quite different from the rest.
When I’m with you, I feel so blessed.
