I Forgot Tomorrow
So long ago I knew the game.
Back when I thought I had a name.
And lessons were for school days.
I never learned to change my ways.
Chorus
The shadow of the past was cast.
Who knew it wasn't meant to last.
No one is meant to live in sorrow.
I remember now, I forgot tomorrow.
I walked down that empty street.
With no chance of love to meet.
Looking down, afraid to see.
The other person I could be.
The shadow of the past was cast.
Who knew it wasn't meant to last.
No one is meant to live in sorrow.
I remember now, I forgot tomorrow.
Someday has come with latent light.
With shades of grey of black and white.
A long lost sense that I belong.
And now it's time to right the wrong.
repeat chorus
The open door without a lock.
Awaits the taker of the stock.
The only cost has now been paid.
And all the wait has now been weighed.
Repeat Chorus
