I Forgot Tomorrow

So long ago I knew the game. Back when I thought I had a name. And lessons were for school days. I never learned to change my ways. Chorus The shadow of the past was cast. Who knew it wasn't meant to last. No one is meant to live in sorrow. I remember now, I forgot tomorrow. I walked down that empty street. With no chance of love to meet. Looking down, afraid to see. The other person I could be. The shadow of the past was cast. Who knew it wasn't meant to last. No one is meant to live in sorrow. I remember now, I forgot tomorrow. Someday has come with latent light. With shades of grey of black and white. A long lost sense that I belong. And now it's time to right the wrong. repeat chorus The open door without a lock. Awaits the taker of the stock. The only cost has now been paid. And all the wait has now been weighed. Repeat Chorus

Wow, bright perceptive and beautifully done, Robert! So very sorrowful, but at the same time leaves a bright glimmer of hope. Much like a storm stricken bird finding the way home to its nest. Best wishes, Mikki :)

I really like the repetition of your chorus. It's first two lines, wow. One little part of a great whole.
