I fell, I fall
I fell
I fall
And I shall fall again
I'm in a dark pit with no means of escape
My eyes and hands are the instruments of my demise
No pills, no booze, no leaves
Yet I can feel that I am sick
I do not crave any substance, I crave only what you can give
Your glances, your laughs, your warm kisses
All these are nice, great, uplifting even
But I crave your unwavering trust and interest in me
I do not doubt your love
I do not doubt your loyalty
I do not believe that you trust me to be there for you
To lift you up when you're down
To be the one who makes you laugh
My mates say I am addicted to pleasing you,
That I have a serious addiction, but I hide it so well
If only my vice was cocaine, then they'd see how sick I was
If only I had needle marks on my arms , maybe then they'd help me out
Yet I'm indistinguishable from other men
I chase a high that I had when I made you laugh on our first date
A decade has passed yet I still hear it as clear as day
Lover, pretend for a day and ease my soul
Assure me you won't leave when I take a day off
I live for you and not for us, by no means is that grounds for us to part
I fell
I fall
And I shall fall again
I've fallen in love with you, everytime that you smile
