I Feel Slovenly Today

Five pounds heavier today than the week before.
Does that make sense?  Could I ask for more?
The same doctor’s scale both of the times? 
Am I hiding grapefruit?  Have I hidden limes?
Five pounds heavier from Tuesday since last Friday?
I am feeling a bit slovenly.  Not tidy.
