Notes About The Poem

Baby's good to me, you know
She's happy as can be, you know
She said so
I'm in love with her and I feel fine

John Lennon, The Beatles 1964

Listen to poem:

I Feel Fine, You Know

Today I feel sublime.
In awe, it's my time!
High emotions, ring ding, chime.

I feel fine, you know!

So happy I'm breathless.
Dawn's elation is endless.
Goodness is honed, sharply in focus.

I feel fine, you know!

I've forsaken the half-life.
Excised the nays with knife.
Yeah's and OK's now rife.

I feel fine, you know!

Destiny's equation rewritten.
Now, zest and zeal emblazon
My mood, buoyant with beacon

I feel fine, you know!
