I Feel Cold Mum

Two windows overlook Forty five winters and summers Two windows overlook The years that passed From under the shade of pine trees Like snakes keeping vigil in the dry season Seasons ignite in their way Happy and sad leaves Burnt leaves of a crimson colour As if they were only lights in two windows Overlooking forty five winters and summers Two windows overlooking silently On the dream flowers That grow above the marble Above the threshold of the cool dry season Oh mum How my pigtails fly up As the cold wind blows through the alleys of Dawn How my pigtails fly up in front of mirrors As the wind chews my body with time! I feel cold oh mom As if the face of the sun never shines At that moment In the polar cold of time! Two windows overlook Forty five winters and summers And time runs out as the wind stings me Above the threshold Of the cool dry season
